The Daytripper

Chet Garner, host of the well-known PBS show The Daytripper came to us asking if it would be possible to create a mobile app experience that would host all their TV episodes and be integrated into their existing membership system. 

We took it so much further than that and were able to make much more than a video player. Chet has been pretty much everywhere you can imagine in Texas — from well-known landmarks to some completely obscure dives and hideaways. We took ALL the spots he’s been to along with photos, episodes, blog entries, podcasts, and trip data to create a unique adventure planning experience for their incredibly active fanbase. The Daytripper Application ecosystem is based on an ASP.NET Core Service Stack backend framework with a user admin Vue based SPA portal and native mobile applications.
