The Challenge

Rudy's Bar-B-Q is a fun and serious company that looks to its marketing and operations to deliver functional and great-looking guest experiences and internal tooling to ensure operational efficiencies.  Forbattring helped Rudy's Bar-B-Q on all these fronts with an updated web presence, online ordering system and tools to allow for guest catering.

Description:

Rudy's Bar-B-Q wanted to update their website, marketing and e-commerce activies to help increase sales as well as build integrations to streamline business processes and accounting.  Since they are a national restaurant brand, their website had to be performant and scale to handle traffic.

We put together a plan to combine a new web property based on Umbraco, Big Commerce for online sales and various custom integrations to allow for a custom gift card program and integrations into their accounting system.  The Rudy's website now is a multi-million dollar revenue center supported by systems and processes that will allow for fully scalable growth in the future.

One of the primary goals with redesigning Rudys.com was performance across all devices. But we didn’t just redesign a website, we helped rethink how their online ordering is processed — even down to more efficient shipping methods. With the updated website design, Rudy’s guests can now easily locate, view menus, and most importantly, order Bar-B-Q from basically anywhere. Since launching the new website, mobile traffic has significantly increased and customers are happy!  People are serious about their Bar-B-Q, and we took the process for getting it to them just as serious. Now, you can easily hop online and order whatever you need — from a Rudy’s hat all the way to a Yeti Cooler loaded with everything needed to feed an army.

Additionally we helped the Rudy's home office automate and integrate various systems such as Point of Sale integrations to accounting and an online group ordering in-house platform.
